- Proofread, copyedited, and rewrote materials for print publications and the college web site, including music and academic life materials (newsletters, the college bulletin, Berklee.edu news and features) and marketing materials (the college prospectus, the college annual report, advertisements, fundraising solicitations, concert posters, event calendars, CD liner notes, and other materials, as needed).
- Developed the college’s first style manual.
- Acted as editing and writing resource for faculty and staff members throughout the college.

- Contributed to print publications and the Berklee web site, including profiles (students, faculty members, donors, parents, and alumni), academic news (features on a variety of topics including international partnerships, scholarship programs, and community outreach efforts), and marketing materials (collateral for various college departments, including promotional brochures for students, parents, alumni, and prospective donors).

- Checked internal and external materials—pamphlets, reports, investment kits—for factual accuracy, grammatical correctness, and consistency with Scudder Kemper style.

- Wrote stories for alternative newsweekly. Topics ranged from regional news such as urban development and illiteracy to lifestyle features on alternative religions and body modifications.

- Satire book Oh the Humanity! A Gentle Guide to Social Interaction for the Feeble Young Introvert to be published in fall 2007 by TOW Books.
- Humor writing has appeared in a variety of publications, including The New Yorker, Salon, and McSweeney’s Internet Tendency as well as in the print anthologies The Future Dictionary of America (edited by Jonathan Safran Foer et al.) and Created in Darkness by Troubled Americans: The Best of McSweeney’s Humor Category (edited by Dave Eggers et al.).
